Rebecca Jones had just one thing in mind after giving birth the health of her baby Saskia.
"I honestly couldn't care about the baby weight," she said.
"From when I got pregnant, my focus just switched completely to the baby."
The Auckland mum hasn't put pressure on herself to get back in shape. The weight has slowly come off thanks to regular walks, eating fruit and vegetables, and snacks to keep her hunger in check.
"Mine came off slowly after about six months," she said. "When you're breastfeeding you're so hungry, you need to eat all the time."
After nine months, Jones said she was happy to be back within 5kg of her pre-pregnancy weight.
Christchurch mum Lily Nabi said it was important to remember celebrities had more time and money to spend on themselves than regular mums.
She focused on walking every day and eating well while breastfeeding her baby Aaliya.
"There are so many other things to be worried about when you have a child."
