Wedding bells for Avril

Canadian pop-rocker Avril Lavigne will wed her longtime boyfriend and frontman for the band Sum 41.

"Yes, she is engaged. It's all good," publicist Sean Cordner said, refusing to give any details of their upcoming wedding.

According to a US magazine, Whibley, 25, proposed to the 20-year-old singer at the end of her European tour.

The couple started dating early last year after a long friendship. Both grew up in towns in the province of Ontario.
