KEY POINTS:
Auckland's unpredictable weather and a football match have forced legendary singer Carole King's upcoming concert off stage.
The New Zealand leg of The Living Room Tour will no longer take place at Auckland's North Harbour Stadium, instead the singer will relocate to Waitakere Trust's Stadium for the December 2 concert.
King is the songwriting mastermind behind a slew of hit tracks, including The Loco-motion, One Fine Day and (You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.
Event promoter Andrew McManus said the move to the indoor stadium took into account Auckland's variable weather factors, as well as preserving North Harbour Stadium's grass pitch for a soccer game the following day.
The New Zealand Knights are scheduled to take on the Newcastle Jets on Sunday, December 3.
