Southland photographer, Nicole Gourley was waiting for a friend to be baby ready so should could bring her time lapse vision in to fruition.
Her high school buddy, Isaac, and his wife Jess, last year became the subject of that sweet concept.
During the nine month pregnancy, Nicole took up to 3000 images of Jess in the same red dress, over 15 sessions in her Invercargill backyard.
"I decided to do it in my own backyard because of the blossom tree - you'll notice it starts off in autumn, then loses leaves for winter, then the blossom comes out," Nicole told the NZ Herald online.
The first shoot was done at 14 weeks and it wrapped up a week after little Lilah was born on November 13, 2013.
