Ward not returning to River Queen set

Axed River Queen director Vincent Ward will not be returning to the film set but may be involved in editing the movie.

The film's producers yesterday confirmed what had been widely expected when they announced that director of photography Alun Bollinger had taken over as director. Ward, who wrote the film, was dumped as director at Labour Weekend, apparently at the insistence of the troubled project's insurers.
