Vogue tale to be filmed

Anne Hathaway, the young star of The Princess Diaries, is to join Meryl Streep in a new movie, The Devil Wears Prada.

Hathaway will play a smalltown girl who lands a dream job working for a top fashion magazine.

But the experience turns into a nightmare because of her imperious boss, the magazine's editor, played by Streep.

The movie is based on the novel by a former intern at Vogue magazine.

The editor in the film is believed to be based on Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief at Vogue.
