Ever since, Ben hadn't known what to think about Rory, so he tried not to think about him at all. That's why he avoided Vince. It brought it all back. Now it looked as if Ben couldn't avoid Vince any longer.
"I don't know if I can come, Dad," Ben said now, trying to wriggle out of it. "I've got a lot of homework."
"Since when have you done your homework on a Saturday afternoon?" asked Dad. "There's plenty of time the rest of the weekend. Go on I've told Vince we'll be there."
Ben sighed and looked at the flyer again. "I'd rather be nowhere," muttered Ben under his breadth, but he could see that Dad had made up his mind.
