Melanie Clarke, 26, is saving herself for marriage and says she does not approve of the internet selling of virginity.
The Auckland Christian, whose boyfriend is also a virgin, says despite a sex-filled society, holding on to her virginity hasn't been too difficult.
"There are always temptations, but we just don't put ourselves into those situations and we talk about it and we respect each other. There's no rush."
Clarke, who works in marketing, says her virginity is priceless and if someone offered her money for it, accepting "wouldn't even cross my mind".
"For me, sex should be reserved for two people who love and respect each other and it deserves a level of intimacy that just can't be bought at an auction."
