Auckland may not have come to the party with the weather for yesterday's Melbourne Cup, but that didn't stop the City of Sails' fashion-forward residents from donning their glad rags and heading to Ellerslie.

Online entertainment reporter Joanna Hunkin went along and chatted to Ellerslie Ambassador and Fashion in the Field judge Bridgette O'Sullivan about what she's looking for in a race-day outfit.
