Victoria's Secret model expecting first baby

Brazilian model Adriana Lima and her husband, basketball star Marko Jaric, have confirmed they will welcome their first baby into the world later this year.

Their spokesperson said: "Adriana and Marko are overjoyed that they are expecting their first child together and are excited to share the happy news and start their family together."

The couple - who married in a small civil ceremony in Wyoming on Valentine's Day this year after meeting in 2006 - are currently planning a big summer celebration of their marriage in either Adriana's native Brazil or her spouse's home country of Serbia.

Speaking after they married, the couple said: "We are so excited about our future together."

Adriana is not the only Victoria's Secret model currently pregnant.

German beauty Heidi Klum recently confirmed she was expecting her fourth child after husband Seal broke the news to the crowd at one of his concerts.

The supermodel - who has two sons, Henry, three, and Johan, two, with the musician and daughter Leni, four, from a previous relationship - admitted she wasn't ready to tell people she was expecting when Seal let it slip.

The 35-year-old star said: "I'm still in the very beginning. The news kind of came out faster than I wanted it to. My husband kind of surprised me and everybody at one of his concerts.

"He was just on tour so he told everybody. He's allowed to, obviously. We're very excited."
