Victoria Beckham "channelled her inner girl" when designing her new line.
The former Spice Girl has added to her range of high end dresses by creating a new range of cheaper pieces called Victoria by Victoria Beckham.
She says she felt the time was right to try to broaden her appeal by expanding her business.
"I wanted to offer designer pieces at a more affordable price and show another side of my personality. The original inspiration was the cartoon character Emily the Strange - from that starting point, I channelled my inner girl," she told the February edition of InStyle magazine.
Beckham's dresses have become a hit with celebrities the world over. She is often seen wearing her own creations and said, for her, the frock is the ultimate fashion piece.
