Comedy veteran Ronnie Corbett has attacked British television, saying it is full of bad language and mindless reality shows.
Corbett said he and partner Ronnie Barker were always mindful of their family audience when they made The Two Ronnies, which ran for 16 years until 1987 and at its height attracted 17 million viewers.
"We knew what would upset the average man in the street," he said. "Our material was good-natured."
"There's a lot of swearing on TV today. They even have documentaries with the F-word. You get fed up watching shows with not much care and love."
