Spike Lee's movie might be about the reign of terror serial killer the "Son of Sam" created in 1977, but the soundtrack acts as a classy disco-era time capsule, even with the incongruous inclusion of the Who's Baba O'Riley.

With tracks from the likes of Thelma Houston, Marvin Gaye, the Emotions, Chic, Grace Jones and Abba (Dancing Queen, of course) it's one which will come in useful on the older folks' party pile.
