Urban Outfitters, an American multinational clothing company, describes the item as an "ultra-sexy way to layer" your clothing.
"The ultra-sexy way to layer with this teeny cropped tank top by Out From Under," the product's description reads.
"Cropped above chest for the coolest layered look featuring a crop neck and thin shoulder straps."
Twitter users were quick to question the use of the top, and how exactly it is supposed to be worn.
"WTF am I looking at," one social media user wrote.
"Seriously? What is that? Why don't they just put her in just a bra and claim the "Shrug" is invisible," another added.
While it is no longer available on Urban Outfitters' website, the photos will forever live on ... just like these $114.95 pair of "ridiculous" mum jeans that have just dropped in Topshop stores across Australia and online.
Dubbed the Clear Knee Mom Jeans, the jeans feature a clear plastic panel - just in case you wanted to show your knee caps off.
"Topshop's Clear Knee Mom Jeans are the surest sign yet of impending Armageddon," one user on Twitter wrote.
"Topshop's Clear Knee Mom Jeans are a sign that we are moving backwards tbf," another wrote.
It goes without saying, the jeans are not dryer friendly, and while the jeans have been blasted with critics - there are a few fans of trend.
"I've always loved my kneecaps. So when I saw this pair of see-through kneecapped jeans, I had to get my hands on them! YOLO," one customer, who purchased and commented on her love for the jeans said.
