U2 to announce rescheduled dates

U2 were originally scheduled to play two Auckland shows in March.

U2 will announce the postponed Vertigo Tour dates "within the next week", according to the band's offical website u2.com.

The website says the postponed dates, which include two shows in Auckland, are "definitely being rescheduled" and final details are being put in place.

Ten concerts in total were postponed earlier this year after a close family member of one of the band fell ill.
