Peter Jackson will pick a wildcard entry for the final of the 48HOURS Furious Film-making Challenge.
Four winning short films, from finals in Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, have already been selected but Jackson, who is making King Kong, will have his say about one other film he thinks is worthy of competing.
The final is on C4, Sunday, June 12, at 9pm.
The one-hour special will screen all five films. The home audience will vote for the film they like best and the winner will be announced live.
It's all made in one frantic weekend, and we're assured the winning films are both masterful and hilarious.
The four winners are:
Auckland

A cheeky, slightly creepy male babysitter entertains his charge by creating a fairytale where they are the heroes in an enchanted land.
Wellington
Chip & Manny - Team Locked And Stapled

Christchurch
Bruised Gold - Team Evil Genius Labs
