Twitter war erupts over how to pronounce 'Reese's'

A simple poll has left Twitter divided over how to correctly pronounce the brand Reese's.

A Twitter user asked the question: "How do you pronounce the name of the peanut butter cup candy with the orange wrapper?"

She then gave the options "Ree-Cees" or "Ree-Sis".

Over 168,000 people have weighed in on the debate, and "Ree-Sis" is currently in the lead with 60 per cent of the vote.

However, the question has clearly struck a chord with angry Twitter users who have set the site alight with their friendly fire.

I figure it's supposed to rhyme with pieces, hence ree-sis and not ree-cees
Not to mention proper grammar/pronunciation of the apostrophe s
