Twitter reacts to the announcement of the royal baby name

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge announced the name of their newborn daughter on Twitter this morning causing a frenzy of reaction online.

In a touching tribute, the little girl, who was born on Saturday, has been named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, in honour of her grandfather, her grandmother and her great-grandmother.

Twitter exploded in the wake of the announcement as people took to the internet to express their opinions over the choice of names.

Perfect names. My 2-year old Charlotte Diana will be thrilled at cousinly name-sharing. Is at an age where thinks world revolves around her!
