Four television presenters will be delivering more than the news next year.
TV One Breakfast host Alison Mau and newsreader Simon Dallow are expecting their second child at the end of summer. They have a daughter, Paris, aged 3.
TV3 newsreader Carol Hirschfeld and Listener editor Finlay Macdonald are also expecting their second child. They have a son, Will, 5.
Hirschfeld's onscreen partner, John Campbell, and wife Emma Patterson are expecting their first child.
Spokeswomen for Hirschfeld and Mau said the presenters were delighted with the news.
A TV One spokeswoman said Mau was well and she and Dallow were very excited.
Hirschfeld and Mau are keeping their pregnancies low-key and are understood to have so far declined offers from women's magazines for the traditional "my baby joy" stories.
