STARSKY AND HUTCH
Herald rating: * *
The only iconic thing about this remake of the 1970s TV show is the car. Dysfunctional buddy detectives David Starsky (Ben Stiller), and his partner, Ken Hutch Hutchinson (Owen Wilson) are on the case, aided by their informant, Huggy Bear (Snoop Dogg). Most of the gags fall flat, and Wilson sums up the general feeling by singing a version of David Soul's 1977 hit Don't Give Up On Us Baby. (2004)
