CORONATION STREET
Everyone seems to be getting hot or bothered this week: Vera considers leaving Jack, Janice suspects Leanne has spent the night with another man, Tyrone flirts with Fiz and (disturbing visual ahead) Bob asks Liz to pose wearing nothing but a saddle. Ew.

BOSTON LEGAL
After beginning to speak gibberish in court, Alan turns to Denny for help in curing his new, debilitating condition, Paul and Brad defend a video game company and Denise challenges the polygamy law.

RADIO WHA WAHO
This vintage series from 1993 about a local radio station is worth checking out just to wince at the clothes and spot well-known actors looking very fresh-faced. Don't miss a lean Hori Ahipene playing a ladies' man, as opposed to being a mannish lady in his roles as bossy matriarch Mrs Semisi in Skitz years later.

NATURAL CITY
Herald rating: * * *
A special forces officer falls for an artificial girl whose chip is about to expire in this beautifully realised science fiction film from South Korea. The story is a little slow in places but that's made up for with great effects and familiar elements which pay homage to films like Blade Runner and The Matrix. (2003)

EURO TRIP
Herald rating: * *
You don't need a whole lot of plot for a teen road trip film. A high school graduate goes to Europe to find the girl of his dreams and takes along his three best friends - a horny slacker, a girl pining for true romance and a nerd. The humour is crude and many gags are xenophobic but it's ultimately a good-natured comedy. (2004)
