It's about Sergeant Raymond Shaw (Liev Schreiber), a war hero who saved his fellow soldiers just as his commanding officer, Captain Ben Marco (Washington), was knocked unconscious. Shaw eventually becomes a vice-presidential nominee, while Marco begins to suspect the events never happened. (2004)
