Entertaining doco about Anton Newcombe, the frontman of the
obscure but talented band the Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Courtney Taylor, frontman of the Dandy Warhols - good friends turned
bitter rivals. It's worth seeing just to see the momentum of the music industry take hold as the Warhols find fame and commercial success, a notion the other resolutely rejects. Newcombe could have been the

I CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE
Hypnotist Paul McKenna has taken what started as a stage show and turned it into an empire that has spawned seminars, corporate coaching, books, and television shows like this one. McKenna became interested in hypnotism after interviewing a hypnotist on radio, and a hobby eventually became his profession. In this show he takes on seemingly untreatable cases - he even tries to help a blind man to see again.
The people he tries to cure often turn to him as a last resort and the show follows them from when McKenna and his team first take on their cases, through treatment and setbacks, desperate phone calls, and on to the final cure. Tonight features three cases: needle phobia, Tourette's syndrome and romantic heartbreak. Following this series, McKenna went on to make a show called I Can Make You Thin.
