#TrumpGirlsBreakTheInternet reveals love and hate for Trump

Just when you thought the race for the White House couldn't get more bizarre, #TrumpGirlsBreakTheInternet happened.

Babes for Trump have shown their support for the Republican presidential candidate by donning their bikinis and trucker hats and posting photos to the @babesforTrump twitter account.

The @babesforTrump twitter account was created earlier this year by four male university students, according to the Daily Mail.

The hashtag began as a reaction to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released on Sunday showing Hillary Clinton with a lead over Trump among women.

While the so-called Trump babes have embraced the trending topic wholeheartedly, other Twitter users have been less than impressed.

@pettyyonceh remarked "the only thing y'all breaking right now is my screen cause i just threw my phone."

@thebloggess tweeted she was pleased to see this video clip from Bob's Burgers was trending after she hesitantly clicked on the #Trumpgirlsbreaktheinternet hashtag.
