Trainspotting around the Garden City

The Big Model Train Show in Christchurch will have garden railways, prototype layouts, static displays and more at the Pioneer Stadium in Lyttelton St on September 30 and October 1. Costs are $7 (adult), $2 (child), $15 (family). On the same weekend Friends of Thomas the Tank Engine will be providing steam train rides 10am and 4.30pm at Steam Scene at McLeans Island.
