Tori Spelling is returning to television - playing herself. In a send-up of her rich-girl reputation, the Beverly Hills, 90210 actress - and daughter of producer Aaron Spelling - will star as a fictionalised version of herself in so noTORIous.

Spelling, 32, portrays a has-been Hollywood actress surrounded by an eclectic bunch of friends. Loni Anderson stars as Spelling's on-screen mother. Spelling's pet, pug Mimi La Rue, plays herself.
