Hilary wanted to incorporate some of her favourite things into this. So, white chocolate mousse, milk and vanilla beans and raspberry. Sounds edible, but is really a flirty little floral.

This floral, woody fragrance was inspired by a midnight walk in J. Lo's "flower garden just before a thunderstorm". Bamboo, freesia, orange blossom, star jasmine, geranium, sandalwood, patchouli and musk are just some of what's gone into this. Not bad.

Mariah likes toasted marshmallow, Capri's tiare flower and Moroccan incense. So, naturally she wanted to include these in her first fragrance. It's a blend of floral and oriental.

4 Kylie Minogue Showtime

Kylie's going through perfumes as quickly as she changes costume on stage. Now it's Showtime - a combo of strawberry, blackcurrant, roses, lilac, licorice, white musk and vanilla, a sweet fruit-cum-oriental. Bases covered.

5 Britney Spears Believe

Her first, Curious, was a hit. This one is a "confident expression of optimism and individuality". I'm not the right target for the guava, tangerine, honeysuckle, linden and patchouli infusion but once the top notes dry down, it settles into something that would be easy for teens to wear.
