Tomkat lend a hand to car accident couple

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes stopped to help a couple who had just been in a car accident as they returned from a trip to see their friend David Beckham playing football.

The stars had just flown back to Los Angeles from Salt Lake City after watching Real Madrid beat Real Salt Lake in a friendly game.

They were on the way back from the airport when they spotted the couple on the freeway.

Cruise and Holmes pulled over to make sure they were not seriously hurt and then waited with them until police and firemen arrived.
