Examines the life of Cuban poet and novelist Reinaldo Arenas, considered a counter-revolutionary by the Cuban Government because of his writing and his homosexuality. Serving two years in prison, he writes letters for inmates and smuggles out a novel, which wins accolades around the world. Visually stunning, with an outstanding performance from Javier Bardem. Johnny Depp and Olivier Martinez also star. (2000)

The Sting have dominated this series since its inception in 1998, appearing in all nine finals. They have won six titles but were beaten in the final by the Magic last year and must travel to Hamilton to try to reverse that result.

GERMANY V ARGENTINA
At the time of writing this was one of two quarter-finals in which the teams were known, and what a cracker it will be, with hosts Germany against an on-form Argentina. The second quarter-final (potentially Italy v Switzerland) follows at 6.30am.
Two more quarterfinals are on Sunday (again live at 2.30am and 6.30am), with England v Portugal followed by a possible Brazil v Spain clash. The semifinals will be live on Wednesday and Thursday at 6.30am. TV One has live coverage of two quarterfinals - the later ones on Saturday and Sunday - and live coverage of both semifinals.
