Today's Festival of Europe events

The Festival of Europe continues today.

All the facets of Europe and its relationship with New Zealand are being explored and celebrated in the festival, including cuisine, business, art and fashion.

Today's events include:

"The Euro Conference" at the Stamford Plaza Hotel. The focus is on the euro and its implications for NZ. Senior European Commission officials are guest speakers.

Belgian beer and food tasting at the Stamford Plaza Hotel, 6.30 pm.

Heineken Eurofest, Viaduct Basin, 5 pm. A three-day weekend of European music, dance and entertainment to complement cuisines served at restaurants on the waterfront.
