Today's Festival of Europe events

The Festival of Europe continues this week.

Highlights:

* The HSBC Catalogue Trade Show cocktail function for importers at the New Zealand Trade Centre, from 5 pm to 7.30 pm.

* The Restaurant Association promotion, running until November 18. Hotels and restaurants citywide are offering European cuisine and beverages.

* The Swiss Arts Council's Why Make Prints? exhibition, running until November 19 at the University of Auckland Conference Centre, Symonds St.

* The European Film Festival at the Force Entertainment Centre until Saturday.

The festival is a three-week celebration of Europe, which runs until November 18. It ends with a black-tie charity ball.
