Timberlake paid out over libel charges

Justin Timberlake has accepted "substantial" libel damages over allegations he had a secret fling with model Lucy Clarkson behind the back of girlfriend Cameron Diaz.

His solicitor said publication of the allegations in the News of the World last year had caused damage to the performer's "personal and professional reputations".

The damages will go to charity.
