"I'm looking forward to meeting the Duchess of Cornwall. This will be her first visit to my marae where I intend to introduce her to as much of my home and Maaoritanga as possible," King Tuheitia said.
"I'm eager to reacquaint the Prince of Wales with as many of my people as well. I have long held a particular gratitude to the Prince of Wales for his personal condolences conveyed at the passing of my mother."
Charles and Camilla will spend "a few hours" at the marae, which will include high tea with iwi leaders, top pupils from local schools, as well as other community leaders.
He said he hoped the visit would be a highlight of the pair's visit to New Zealand.
Other royals to have visited the marae include Charles' siblings Princess Anne and Prince Edward.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess last visited New Zealand in 2012 for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
It will be the second visit by members of the Royal family to New Zealand this year, following Prince Harry's week-long tour in May, which cost the taxpayer $426,317.
The royal visit of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their son Prince George to New Zealand in 2014 cost $1,035,000.
The Kingitanga movement was founded in 1858 and aimed to unite tribal Maori under a single sovereign, King Tāwhiao.
A royal itinerary:
November 4: Charles and Camilla arrive in Wellington.
November 5 and 6: Prince Charles will visit Tawa College and Camilla will visit Te Whaea. The pair will then head to Dunedin where they will visit the Toitu Settlers Museum and the Orokonui Eco Sanctuary.
The Prince of Wales will also visit Animation Research and The Duchess of Cornwall will attend a literature event at the University of Otago.
November 7 and 8: The Royal couple head to Nelson where they will visit the Nelson Market and attend a food and wine event. The Prince of Wales will visit the Cawthron Institute and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit the WOW museum.
The Prince of Wales will also travel to Westport to participate in the Defence Force's Exercise Southern Katipo. The Duchess of Cornwall will return to Wellington and visit the SPCA.
November 9 and 10: The pair will travel to New Plymouth where they will attend Tea with Taranaki at Brooklands Park. The Prince of Wales will visit a dairy farm and The Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Len Lye Centre.
They will also visit Ngaruawahia, before winding up the tour in Auckland where The Prince of Wales will visit Nga Rangatahi Toa Creative Arts Initiative and the Duchess of Cornwall will visit the Bellyful Charity. There will also be a visit to the Spirit of New Zealand.
