KEY POINTS:
Kiss, kiss, mwah, mwah, - it's all over for another year. But now, after the glam and the goss, what on earth is anyone going to wear?
The fashionistas have left the building after the trade showings that make up the first four days of Air New Zealand Fashion Week, leaving the crowds at the Viaduct to look at summer styles while they try to make sense of next winter.
In the interests of allowing you to plan ahead, we've pulled together the Herald experts' picks on what to look out for to be truly on trend. And even if you're not a mad keen follower of fashion, it's nice to know what the future holds and work out whether to live in the past or adapt a few of next winter's key looks to suit your own style.
But if you'd rather go the whole hog, by all means shorten your skirt, slip on some metallic leggings, punk it up in PVC and stomp about by day; don 70s-style trackies for the weekend; and step out in pretty fluid satin frocks or full-on sequinned glitz for a night on the tiles.
For blokes, skip the hemline angst but share chunky knits and casual wear with your girl and pull on skinny pants with a sharp cropped jacket or anorak and you're rocking.
