Thieves in Hungary have stolen tapes of the BBC's new prime-time series, Robin Hood, delaying production of some of the 13 episodes.
The BBC would not comment on a newspaper report that the tapes were the only copies and that thieves were demanding payment of £1 million ($2.9 million) for their return.
Robin Hood is being shot in Hungary, and the production company said it had been "the victim of a break-in" and some high-definition tapes and other equipment had been stolen.
