"What a dreamer. How are some rusty old aeroplanes going to make you rich and famous?"
Bernadette wrinkled her freckled nose impatiently.
David stabbed his finger at the book. "It says 'invaluable'. I reckon, if I found those planes, they'd be worth a fortune. I would probably be asked to fly with them to America. Maybe they'll make a movie about me!"
Bernadette shook her head. "If you found the planes, they would stay here on the island. They're part of the island's history. And as for a movie about , dream on!"
As she finished speaking, the sound of squealing gulls and high-pitched shouting reached them from the beach.Bernadette peered through the porthole.
"It's Lou. She's in trouble. Quick, turn off the gas. We'll take the dinghy and rescue her.
