To this day, the whereabouts of these historic planes is not known, and historians can only assume that the planes were either consigned to the rubbish dump or destroyed.
However, according to expert opinion, if either or both of the historic seaplanes were found intact and could be restored to something like their original condition, they would certainly be an invaluable addition to any aeronautical collection.
"I'd love to find those planes!" David waved the spatula in mid-air for emphasis.
Bernadette looked up at him. "David, you're throwing batter everywhere. Mum'll be furious if we make a mess."
"Don't worry," said David, hastily wiping up the globs of batter that had stuck onto the galley doors. "Mum won't mind if I find the seaplanes. I'll be rich and famous then."
