Review: Peter Eley
Dr Evil has kidnapped Austin Powers and is holding him hostage at the Electric Psychedelic Swingers Club.
Rather than just shoot him and conquer the world, Dr Evil devises an overly-elaborate trivia game to decide the fate of mankind.
Now as both have been cryogenically frozen for 30 years, they're going to need your help to answer questions about popular culture from the past three decades.
A curious synergy exists between Austin Powers and trivia - both are great fun and, er, trivial.
And while this isn't the first computer trivia game, it's probably the funniest.
Hold on for some simply shagadelic fun that really tests the General (8+) rating given to this game.
Typical of the questions are: Pick four from a list of seven euphemisms that Austin uses for his favourite body part.
In the interests of good taste we won't list them, but as Austin says: "No baby, my bearded sausage isn't one of them."
And in a question about which four of seven pop stars have been married: "The rest don't want to get tied down - at least by women."
In the spirit of the game, I'll leave you with the iconic question of pop culture: who shoots JR on Dallas - Oswald, Bobby, Kristin or Maggie?
Required: PC - Pentium 90, 16Mb Ram. Mac - Power PC or G3, System 7.5.5, 16Mb Ram.
