By NANCY KLIMA
Natty jumped at the sound of the angry voice. Mrs Lockgate was staring straight at her. She grabbed Prince's leash and followed Mrs Lockgate back across the street.
Mrs Lockgate held the gate open for them. Then she marched across her garden to the flower beds under her biggest tree. Glaring at Natty and Prince, she pointed to the lilies.Natty looked down at a big mess. Amid the flowers hung a twisted red and white string, a ripped blue rubbish bag, and a yucky chicken bone. On the other side, tucked into the petunias, was a sickening, slimy lettuce leaf.
"This happened today, and it's happened before," Mrs Lockgate said. "Your dog is the only one in the neighbourhood. He must be bringing rubbish into my garden.
