One may think it's sports and outdoorsy, adrenaline-pumping hobbies that impress potential lovers in New Zealand. However, it's much quieter pastimes that appeal the most, according to a new study.
An online poll of 40,000 Kiwi singles has revealed the top ten most attractive pursuits. The list is dominated by quiet and quaint activities like gardening, reading, craft, art and photography.
Not that surprisingly, travelling tops the list, while movies and music come in at two and three, following by fine dining and health.
Quintessential Kiwi hobbies like adventure sports, tramping, skiing and sailing didn't even make the list. Sports were also scrapped, suggesting it might be time to change Tinder profile pictures to more sexy homebody snaps.
