The Hives, Slipknot, the Polyphonic Spree and Le Tigre have been added to the lineup for the annual Big Day Out music festival in Auckland next year.
Other acts new to the bill are Atmosphere, Carl Cox, Blues Explosion, Kid 606 and Hatebreed.
New Zealand acts announced include Scribe Featuring P Money, Deceptikonz, Bexta, Dimmer, Pluto, Shapeshifter, Dei Hamo, Dj Sirvere And The Checks.
They join previously confirmed acts the Beastie Boys, the Donnas, the Chemical Brothers, System Of A Down and the Music.
As usual, Big Day Out will also play host to top acts from Australia and New Zealand, including the D4, Regurgitator, Grinspoon, Powderfinger, The Bleeders and Steriogram.
Additional acts are expected to join the lineup.
The Big Day Out is on January 21st, 2005 at Ericsson Stadium in Auckland.
