The Girl Next Door

Matthew (Emile Hirsch) is headed for a successful middle-class life in the suburbs when he falls for the girl who's just moved in next door, Danielle (Elisha Cuthbert). Her secret is that she was, in a previous life, Athena the porn-movie queen. Matthew and his best friends, Eli (Chris Marquette) and Klitz (Paul Dano), set out to rescue Athena/Danielle from her past and the present, represented by her sleazy producer (Timothy Olyphant) at an adult movie convention in Vegas.

Which tells you more than you need to know, unless you're a teenage boy in conflict with your hormones who thinks that the American Pie trilogy represents the greatest triumph of movie-making before and including Citizen Kane.

Apparently the DVD offers the teenage male audience many more opportunities to look at the female form. We didn't bother.
