Toby didn't even attempt to defend himself. He knew Steffan, the Master's son, was doing it all but he had no proof. A stifled laugh came from the tack room. No doubt Steffan was enjoying every word.
'And on top of that the houses have been unsettled the last few days. They can probably smell that dragon on you clothes.' The Master Groom shook his head sadly now and didn't look quite as angry.
Toby was about to protest that Klel was far cleaner than a horse but his master didn't give him a chance.
