Thirsty business

Top of our list for summer thirst quenchers is going to be Mac's Lemon Crush. Made with Kerikeri lemon juice, it's got just the right kick to it without being too sweet. Cold and bubbly it's non-alcoholic and can be drunk straight or used as a mixer. $5.75 for a four-pack. In stores now.

Fashion affair

If you can't wait until Fashion Week later in the month to polish off your Manolos, head to Kermadec at The Viaduct this Friday for the Absolut Fashion Show and Designer Lunch with a show of in-season clothes from Trelise Cooper, Cybele, and Hailwood. And on September 4, 11 and 18, the Kermadec Trench Bar will be hosting their Hot Couture Parties, giving you another chance to put on your glad rags.
