Abbey's wish had come true.

She was going to be Angel Gabriel in the school play. Mum was coming to see her, and Dad and Grandma and Grandpa and the twins.

On Christmas Eve Abbey put on her long white dress. One which Mum and Gran had designed and made especially for the Christmas play. It had been made out of Mum's long wedding veil.

Mum tied a silver ribbon around Abbey's waist. "There," she said, standing back and looking. "It's perfect."
