People using public transport in the Dutch city of Rotterdam have more to worry about than overcrowded buses.
An advertising campaign by health club chain Fitness First has seen the bench seat in one of the city's bus stops converted into a scale, ready to record the weight of anyone who sits on it.
When the seat is vacant, an electronic display on the right-hand side of the bus stop displays a number which hovers around 0kg.
As soon as waiting members of the public sit down however, their weight is displayed for all to see.
