The American-based reality competition series The Amazing Race won New Zealanders Bob Parr and Phil Keoghan their fourth consecutive Emmy Award in Los Angeles last night.
The show, which pits teams of two against each other as they race around the world to compete for the prize of US$1m ($1.58m), is produced by Parr from Arrowtown and hosted by Christchurch-born Keoghan.
Parr - a decorated former British SAS officer - runs Global Film Solutions from Arrowtown with his Queenstown business partner Julian Grimmond.
The company specialises in safety, security and risk management for film and television worldwide.
After 18 years in the British SAS, six years as a British marine and an MBE from the Queen for services to the British Empire, Bob Parr ended up in film and television, specialising in security, safety and risk management.
Parr has worked on 40 productions in the past 18 months and is now working on shows such as America's Top Model.
