We look at some celebrity couples old and new who gave themselves the best possible chance of living in eternal matrimony – at least according to new research.
New research has revealed the ideal age to get married, with sociologist Nicholas H. Wolfinger of the University of Utah finding that couples who get married in their late-20s and early-30s to be at the lowest risk of separating.
What better way to test these findings than applying them to the world of celebrity couples? Here are some famous couples who lend credence to the findings, and others who research suggests are destined to go the distance.
Kim and Kanye, the great romance of modern times, were 33 and 37 when they celebrated their love with an extravagant French wedding last year, meaning they just squeeze into the low-divorce-risk sweet spot.

Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney
Seems weird that Lady Gaga is engaged to a normal everyday man and not a Japanese ghost that exists solely on Tumblr or something. At 29 to Taylor Kinney's 34 they are still in the low-divorce-risk zone if they get married in the next couple of years.
FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson
FKA Twigs and FKA Edward Cullen were reportedly engaged this year, and at 27 and 29 they are right in eternal happiness forever zone.
Andy Murray and Kim Sears
Andy Murray and his swearing, dog-painting wife were both 27 when they had their beautiful Scottish wedding in April this year.
