Pop music queen Britney Spears, 24, is suing celebrity magazine US Weekly for NZ$30 million over a story alleging she and husband Kevin Federline had videotaped themselves having sex. Their lawyer said: "The article is a despicable work of fiction comprised of blatant lies from beginning to end." The couple sued after the magazine refused to print a retraction and apology.
Spears, who has sold more than 60 million albums, married dancer Federline, 27, in September last year and recently gave birth to a boy.
