"My dad talked to my aunt and she thought the venue isn't friendly and comfortable for me and that's why she didn't invite me.
"If that's the only reason, isn't that something I should decide? Maybe I can handle myself in that venue.
"Maybe my brother and dad will help me if I needed help. She excluded me because I have a disability."
Despite trying to talk to her parents about the issue, Zinogirl said she received no sympathy or support.
Instead, her parents' stance was that she needed to understand it was her aunt's wedding so it was up to her to decided who should be invited.
"I told them that if she thinks I'm not good enough to be at her wedding then I don't want to see her or talk to her again but they tell me that I should continue to be a good niece and respect her and be friendly with her. I don't understand why?
"Do I have a right to be upset and not wanting to talk to her again?"
Reddit users were quick to agree with Zinogirl and jumped to her defence.
Many reassured her that she was right to feel the way she did and that her family was in the wrong.
Some suggested her family should refuse to attend the wedding to protest Zinogirl's exclusion.
Neverenoughnapkins wrote: "They should have excluded all the kids. Just ask the aunt to send them an "adults only" invitation and be done with it.
"How s*** to just bring the two kids without disabilities and deliberately exclude the one that needs help."
Conjuring the perfect response in the instance that her aunt did apologise was also suggested.
TheRoyalFortune said: "If I were you I sure wouldn't forget it.
"I bet your aunt will make some kind of flippant half-apology. Think hard about how you want to respond.
"Personally, I'd just say 'It's ok. At least I know how you feel about me now'."
SampSimps recommended biding her time to get revenge: "You're eventually going to get married too, so purposely not invite her and her husband when that happens.
"When you're ask why, just tell them you have a right to choose who you want at your wedding. Nothing more."
The situation was made worse when Zinogirl revealed she had done some research and learnt the wedding venue had wheelchair access.
She wrote: "I've seen pictures of the venue. I could have managed it easily without any help. My school is more difficulty than that."
She also expressed her disappointment in her parents: "I'm disappointed in them. My brothers tell me that they won't go if I'm not going but my parents are telling them that they should go."
The_original_kiki responded by telling Zinogirl: "If your parents go to that wedding without you, they suck at being parents. Your aunt sucks at being a human."
